DG is one of my favorites, and I wish I could see it again this year, but just can't make it into the city this time. Hope the opening goes really well!
Yes, I would have liked to be there for the Drama Queens; Joyce DiDonato and Il Complesso Barocco’s performance is stunningly beautiful! And, what moves me most, is how far HIP has come since the mid 60’s, when “If it sounds weird, it must be authentic” was the slogan...
